LEWISTON, ID- The all star monster truck tour made a pit stop at EC enterprises motorsports park for not one, but two nights worth of entertainment.
"we've been in business for 15 years, we go all across the country. We've been to Alaska, Hawaii, California, Maine, Florida, and everywhere in between. We're so happy to bring the tour for the first time ever to EC motorsports park in Lewiston," said monster truck president Bryan Wagner.
The event drew early crowds at the freedom northwest arena. The pit party gave fans the opportunity to check out the four monster trucks, take photos with the drivers, and even get their flags autographed.
It was only the beginning to a jam packed show. It started out with a best trick contest, where judges gave their score out of 10.
Trucks ranged from catching air on the ramps, to front nose wheeling, or trucks going nearly vertical. The highest scoring of the night was a 7.
Next up the the trucks were tested with their speed, racing side by side on the track.
Then there was the donut competition, where each truck spun around as fast as possible, creating giant clouds of dust around them.
Prior to the very last event, kids were invited out to the track to participate in a tire racing competition.
Last but not least, there was the freestyle, where monster trucks leaped over the school bus.
Some landings went smoother than others, but the fan favorite event capped off a memorable night full of tricks and family fun.
