Bantams and Bengals triumph at golden throne games, raising record $24,000 for charity

LEWISTON, ID- The Golden Throne games lived up to the hype at the P1FCU activity center, as both student sections cheered nonstop throughout the game.

Starting out with the girls game, it was back and forth in the first quarter, but the Bantams pulled away in the second.

Kendall Wallace led the team in scoring with 15 points, and Clarkston tied a golden throne record with 12 3 pointers made.

The Bantams are now 17-0 on the season, dominating the Bengal's 66-37.

Then over to the boys game, it was a close game from start to finish, as both teams traded buckets in the first quarter.

Royce Fischer led the Bengal's with 4 three pointers and 15 points. The Bengal's hang on to beat the Bantams 57-47.

After the game, the two schools came together mid court, and posed with a P1FCU check. The two schools raised 24,000 dollars to go towards their three charities.

Then afterwards, the winner of the Golden Throne was presented. The Lewiston Bengals took home the hardware after Clarkston beat them in back to back years.
