MOSCOW, Idaho – After the most recent hearing at the end of February, Judge John Judge set a handful of deadlines for this case.

That includes deadlines for Kohberger's alibi and discovery from both legal teams.

Roughly a week later, Anne Taylor, Kohberger’s public defender, submitted a motion requesting additional ones.

In this motion, she lays out a detailed schedule that would add five new sets of deadlines to Judge Judge's initial order, which would take this case through the end of April 2025.

Within the motion, Taylor writes, "Counsel respectfully makes this request to establish deadlines that will keep Mr. Kohberger’s case moving forward and allow for his defense team to be prepared."

Most recently, the State objected to Defense's request.

Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson cites the fact that these new deadlines would leave behind the previously discussed potential trial date of March 3, 2025.

The state then submitted its own version of the Defense’s proposed deadlines that would accommodate a March 3 trial.

Also -- the defense's motion to augment the record was sealed, which the state had no objection to.

At this time, there will not be another court proceeding until May 14, when the defense's motion for a change in venue will be addressed.
