LEWISTON,ID- "It's the Lewiston Supercross, which is how EC Enterprises got started way back. Our first event was the Supercross," said EC Enterprises Owner Eric Christiansen.

The event has been a staple in the Valley since 2006, with Motorcycles racing up and down the track the last 17 years. It's also an event for all ages to participate in.

"We've had them as young as two years old racing out here," Christiansen said. "Then the piwi kids, and little bikes of 65's, 85's, and clear on up to 450 pros."

Lewiston Supercross also draws in a large fanbase, as crowds watch the action from the stands.

"It's really exciting, great racing, and of course the crashes," Christiansen said. "We don't want people getting hurt, they just want to see people crash."

Not only is it thrilling for the fans, but for those in the race as well.

"The riders get really excited about the Supercross. They start calling, texting, and Facebook messaging months ahead of time of what the track is going to be like and they come to check the track out."

One rewarding aspect of putting on the Supercross event is preparing the track, which was no small feat to build.

"We dig up the dirt up from this arena, and we don't haul anything in," Christiansen said. "Austin Jones was the one that built the track, and he's a really experienced operator."

The Lewiston Supercross begins tomorrow night at 6 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Fans can still get your tickets at ecmxpark.com or at the door.
