LEWISTON, ID- The all-star monster truck show is tomorrow and Saturday in Lewiston. The crew got to work right away this morning building the track.
The bulldozers were quick to move around dirt and build multiple ramps at the Freedom Northwest Arena.
They also rolled out a couple monster trucks, with both of them going on display at Les Schwab Tires and Rogers Toyota. The crew then swapped out the regular tires for the heavy monster truck tires.
One event the trucks will participate in is going onto the ramp, and jumping over not just a school bus, but another car as well.
The crew also took older, smaller cars, flipped them over on its side, and piled dirt around it to stay steady for the monster trucks to jump over.
All star monster trucks president Bryan Wagner says it’s rewarding to see all the hard work come to life during the show.
"It's a great time, but it's a lot of work, it's a lot of man hours to put on a great show for the fans,” Wagner said.
“All it comes down to is seeing that two or three year old with a huge smile on their face during the show, and all the tens of hundreds of hours it takes makes it all worthwhile."
