PULLMAN, WA- The Washington State Cougars have an opportunity take first place in the Pac-12 for the first time since 2007.
The 20-6 Cougs cracked the AP top 25 poll this week, sitting at number 21.
Myles Rice won his seventh Pac-12 freshmen of the week award. After surpassing 1,000 career points, Isaac Jones grabbed his second Pac-12 player of the week honor.
They become the only duo in Pac-12 history to sweep the weekly awards twice in one season.
They will take on the fourth ranked Arizona Wildcats tomorrow night in a top 25 showdown.
Head coach Kyle Smith knows the challenge that lies ahead down in Tucson.
"Obviously this week is a big test on Thursday. I think they're leading the country in scoring margin at home. They're a really talented team with a great atmosphere, one of the best in the country. Pressure is a privilege, and we have an opportunity to do that," Smith said.
Tip-off is set for 8 p.m on FS1.
